Loblolly Pine Seedlings Ideal for Fast-Growing Landscapes

The Loblolly pine seedlings, or Pinus taeda, are fast-growing evergreens that adapt well to various soil types. It is also called the rosemary, old field, bull, Indian, or longstraw. It is drought tolerant, not needing much precipitation to thrive. It is a fragrant evergreen species, which got its nickname, "rosemary." It was once famous for its use as a lumber tree because of its widespread growth. It is native throughout many areas of the United States and provides food and shelter for many native species of animals, ranging from birds to rodents. It produces dry pinecones that are three to six inches in size. 


They are resilient, as they can grow in various conditions. They can withstand drought and flooding. They need sun for at least six hours daily to thrive, but they can grow in many different soil types. These loblolly pine seedlings are easily transplanted and are incredibly versatile.
