Appearance

Growing to heights between 15 to 30 ft (5 to 9 m) tall with a spread of 20 to 30 ft (6 to 9 m)‚ this deciduous tree has smooth‚ mottled gray‚ tan‚ and brown bark․ It has dark green leaves that become a reddish purple by the end of October in the Fall․
