Mistletoe can be poisonous to humans if ingested because it contains high amounts of nitrates and other chemicals that can cause stomach upset and even death if eaten in large quantities or by children with smaller bodies who may be more susceptible to its effects. The leaves and seeds can also cause nausea and vomiting when consumed.

How To Grow Live Mistletoe

Find mature berries and pick them off with a knife or your hands (make sure to wear gloves). Squeeze the berries into cracks of a developed branch of a hardwood tree. This mistletoe beery will germinate and take root after a few weeks.
